Some of you (most of you) know that this is a restarted account--I deleted all my art and journals and started this account afresh as though I had never been on it before. However, on my old account, I used to do things like rant and whine in journals and get into things way too personal and complicated for what is supposed to be a fun art website. I saw a couple of people posting angsty posts and thought that that meant EVERYBODY just randomly posted hateful angsty blogs on a whim. "Zomg, four or five people do it, that must mean the WHOLE WORLD does it on a daily basis! Heeheeheeheeheeeee!" Yeeeeaaaaah. You can see the flaws in my logic. Not an excuse, I know, but hopefully it's an explanation that will go along with my begging you to believe that I'm not a nasty or angsty person by law; I just acted on bad judgement. I take responsibility for my stupidity. Sorry, I don't mean to post ANOTHER personal journal; I wouldn't be saying this at all if I didn't want to apologize to anyone I may have offended: that was my last intention in the world. After two friggin' years I'm still maturing and learning what's appropriate when, and thinking back I wrote rash things that I really shouldn't have, so, I'm very sorry and I hope you'll forgive me.

Yeah, yeah, I know this looks like just another angst journal, but like I said, I wouldn't have posted it at all except that I felt like apologies and explanations for my behavior were due, and I selfishly want you to realize that i don't mean to be a nasty person. I'm just a little dumb sometimes. LOL

FEATURED ARTIST =Aquae is my current featured artist! It's a little difficult to describe her awesomeness but, well, I'll give it a try. To begin, Aquae creates some of the most beautiful digital paintings on DA! Despite being digital, however, her paintings are beautifully old-fashioned, looking like oil pieces. Her current favorite subjects seemto be Lyria and Spade, :thumb95736256: a criminally sexy (and I do mean "criminal", for those of you who like suave pirates, hehhehheh) couple that are loads of fun for those who watch her. The two have full and quirky personalities that are a nice break from the bland Mary Sues and Gary Stus that haunt teh interwebs. Spade, and Lyria are not her only subjects, however; she also does a variety of fantasy artwork :thumb48130351::thumb36891337::thumb29738493: as well as some "historical" style pieces :thumb133614320: .
